Bringing Sculpture to You!

"Sculpture in the South is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sculpture through education and the creation of a permanent sculpture collection." - Mission Statement

Since 1999, twenty-one bronze sculptures have been installed throughout public spaces in the town of Summerville, South Carolina. In 2009, as a sculpture facilitator for individuals, businesses, corporations, the organization established the Sculpture in the South Extended Collection.

Annually in May, Sculpture in the South focuses on its Sculpture in the South Show & Sale. Some years, the Show & Sale is preceded by Arts Education Week and thousands of people visit beautiful historic Summerville to experience both events. More than 35 world-class sculptors present their artwork for sale during the Show & Sale nestled in Azalea Park. Noted as South Carolina’s premiere outdoor arts event, the weekend has drawn national recognition and has become a mainstay within the community. Proceeds from the event go to support sculpture purchases for the Summerville Permanent Public Sculpture Collection.
