Welcome to the Tenth Annual Exhibit and Sale!  It’s an outdoor arts event unlike any you’ve encountered before.  On May 17-18, 2008, Sculpture in the South presents the annual all-sculpture Exhibit and Sale in Summerville’s beautiful Azalea Park.

Discover the upscale arts event that puts you up-close-and-personal with 35 of the top sculptors from across the U.S., who gather together once a year to show their original fine art sculpture, from cowboys to confederate generals, ballet dancers to mythical characters, abstract forms to exotic animals.

All of the sculptors remain on site all weekend, chatting casually with visitors and discussing the inspirations for their work.  Watch the artists at work, demonstrating the processes and techniques it takes to create sculpture.

You won’t want to miss seeing the remarkable sculpture created by students during the Sculptor-in-Residence program that takes place during the school year in Dorchester District II classrooms.

Savor absolutely mouth-watering Smokin' Coles barbecue from the outdoor grill.  Ask about Patron amenities.  Fine art sculpture, exceptional quality ... too good to miss!

Proceeds from the sale of sculpture benefit Summerville’s public sculpture program.  We are pleased that 18 pieces of bronze sculpture have been purchased and installed since 1999 through the efforts of this organization.

Sculpture in the South promotes sculpture through education and through the creation of a permanent sculpture collection that enhances Summerville, South Carolina' public spaces.
